Kristin Thomas and her teenage daughter Kendall have been members at Central PA Mixed Martial Arts in State College for ten years. The two have developed skills over the years in Muay Thai boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but have also developed a special bond through their shared sport. They support each other on and off the mat and find confidence and a sense of empowerment through martial arts and its community.

Megan Swift has always aspired to be a performer. She began writing her own songs in high school and has released her first single in her junior year of college.

Sculptor Katie Bell, of Northeast Harbor, ME, lives just miles outside of Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. She takes inspiration from and expresses gratitude for the park, which is reflected in her free-carving sculpture work. Produced or Friends of Acadia.
